Nevada Woodchucks, Inc., is a Nevada Domestic Non-Profit Corporation . The corporation is a club of woodworkers from the Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Dayton, Minden, Gardnerville, Fernley, Lake Tahoe & surrounding area. The members are very active in support of community activities through woodworking projects, like building thousands of toys each year that are donated to a dozen local charities.

 

The club members work from a fully equipped, 2000 square foot,  woodshop in the Panther Valley area of the City of Reno, Washoe County, Nevada The location is about 10 miles north of Reno Airport.  There are dozens of programs each month for the members to teach, learn, create, and share their work for many aspects of the woodworking craft. These programs are organized in Special Interests Groups or SIGS for short.

 

Nevada Woodchucks, Inc is a State of Nevada Corporation, Corporation Number C13617-1992, formed on the 14th day of December 1992.  The corporation is a 501 C 3 registered Non-Profit with the IRS,  EIN:860845332, thus allowing donors to seek tax relief.

 

The corporation operates under the terms of its Bylaws. There are four elected officers.  Their term is one year. The officers and at least five appointed directors form the voting members of the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors meets regularly throughout the year.
