When are the club general meetings?

The club General Meeting meets on the second Thursday of each month, beginning at 6:30 PM at 405 Western Road #36 (East end of the 2nd long building) Reno, NV 89506.
A typical meeting has a club business meeting for approximately the 15 minutes and then moves on to our demonstration time.
Check out our calendar to see what is happening each month.

Where does the club meet?

Our in-person club meetings are at -

405 Western Road #36 (East end of the 2nd long building) Reno, NV  89506

I don't have a lot of experience woodworking. Will this club be of value?

Our members consist of woodworkers of all skill levels, from absolute beginners to very advanced. The club offers educational and skill building opportunities to all, no matter what level you are at. We have classes and group projects helping one another learn and promote the art and enjoyment of woodcraft. We are in full operation with scheduled classes. Also, we will hold individual classes, when asked. Individual and family memberships are available.

I'd like to see what the club is about before I join. Can I attend a meeting before joining?

Absolutely! You can come to the General Meeting or any of the Special Interest Group (SIGs) meetings to meet the members and tour the shop. Only members may use the shop equipment, but you can come, watch and ask questions.
We have six – Special Interest Groups (SIGs): Toys, Lathe, Scroll Saw, Tools and Techniques, Carving, and Digital Workshop.

I’d like to rent time on your equipment. What are your rates and times that I can use the equipment?

Sorry, we do not rent time on our equipment. We are a club not a makerspace. The shop is for members to use at scheduled classes and SIG meetings. It appears that what you are looking for is a makerspace. There are several makerspaces in the Reno/Sparks area.
